Smash Space UK was established in July 2021 with the intention of bringing the first Rage Room to Newcastle. It is believed that Rage Rooms originate from Japan with the first one allegedly opening in 2008. The concept has quickly spread across the globe with hundreds being created in Serbia, Argentina and the USA. There are several across the UK, however, they are still a rarity and we definitely needed one in Newcastle.

We wanted to diversify the concept of Rage Rooms by including Smash Lanes and Art Launches so that there is something different for everyone to have a go at. Our premises is set up to optimise the experience for everyone.

All of our staff are trained in personal safety and first aid to create a safe environment where people can relieve stress and anger.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to create a safe environment where people can let out their stresses of day-to-day life. It provides an opportunity to participate in a new and fun activity into the ever-growing leisure market.
